"We had a great time! We love "our" cabin! Many people have an extra home somewhere - this is ours! We love Van Buren County - we see new delights at every turn. In our water tower tours, we've been in more than 700 of Iowa's towns. Sometimes people ask what is our favorite of all the places - and we answer "Van Buren County". I introduced Red Fox Lodging to friends of ours from Central Iowa back in October. They had heard about Lake Sugema but had never visited. They were mighty impressed with the accommodations to say the least! It was much, much nicer than they expected. They are already making plans to come back. Keep up the good work! -- Rich Lowe

Just a note to tell you how much we enjoyed the weekend on Lake Sugema at your lodge. We weren't sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised with the cabin and the amenities and are already trying to lock in a long weekend next fall to come down again. This was our third year in a row that we have stayed at Red Fox Lodging. The facilities are the best! The cabins are cozy and very clean! They are outfitted with everything we needed, except our food. We usually fix our own meals, but there are also nice restaurants to choose from if we opt that direction. We come primarily to fish bass, crappies and walleyes and have had great luck. But there is great shopping and site-seeing in the "Seven Villages of Van Buren County". (The Dutchman Store in Cantril is our favorite.) We also enjoy the fire rings at each cabin. We build a fire each night, spread out a blanket and look at the stars. It's a view that we miss living in the city. We have recommended Red Fox Lodging to friends and they have been as happy as we have. -- Ray and Anita LeGrand
I just wanted to let you know that the accommodations at Red Fox are wonderful. The entire site with the lodges, launch and the great lake have made this trip one that I will remember for a long time and I do hope to come back very soon. I get a chance to stay in lodges all over the country, and Red Fox Lodging is right at the top of the list of the best places I have stayed.
